You’ll See It When You Believe It

Most of us were taught “seeing is believing” as a child. We were taught to be realistic and logical. We learned to say, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” This type of thinking is exactly what holds us back from accomplishing our most cherished goals. It stifles the imagination.

The Law of Attraction is about a new awareness which can be described as, “You’ll see it when you believe it.” The fact that we can’t see something doesn’t mean it’s not there. We don’t see opportunities or solutions because we aren’t looking for them. We must first determine what we are looking for.

Rather than seeing first and then believing, we must first set our goal and then the universe will move to help us accomplish it.

You must first decide what you want before you can become aware of how to get it. Your brain acts like an email spam filter. It receives thousands of bits of information daily and filters out any information that is not important. If it didn’t work this way our nervous system would be overwhelmed. By deciding what you want, your brain knows what information is of value.

The normal response to setting a challenging goal is “I can’t see how I’ll accomplish this. I don’t know where the money is going to come from. Who is going to help me? I don’t have what I need” or “I don’t know what I need to know.”

The truth is this: You don’t need to know all those answers. What you need to know is, “What is the end result? Where do I want to end up? What do I want to create?” Determine the goal first and then all the necessary information will follow.

People who get things done, who achieve lofty goals, know this secret: You’ll see it when you believe it. You must believe in the goal first, and then you will see how to accomplish it. You will find a way to make it happen.
