Surround Yourself with “Can-Do” People

Take a good look at the people in your life who are telling you,
“It can’t be done,”
“There’s no way,”
“Your goal is unreasonable.”

Are you allowing others to set limits on whether you are capable or not? If you listen to the naysayer, you are giving them power over your life. Is that the way you want to live your life?

Do you surround yourself with people who tell you why things can’t be done, or with people who help you find solutions? Be careful of the kind of people with whom you surround yourself.

“We don’t have problems, just solutions.”

This was the motto of Rear Admiral Eugene Fluckey, the man responsible for destroying more tonnage of Japanese shipping than any other submarine commander during World War II.

Thomas Edison and Henry Ford lived next door to each other just a few miles from where I live in Florida. Along with tire maker, Harvey Firestone they fished together; camped together and entertained guests such as naturalist John Burroughs and Presidents Coolidge and Hoover. These great men surrounded themselves with other great men.

If you are serious about reaching your goals and attracting fabulous things into your life, surround yourself with “Can-Do” people.
