My wife and I just got back from a short vacation in the Blowing Rock area of North Carolina. The weather was certainly cooler than here in Bradenton, Florida.
The Smokey Mountains are so named because most of the time there is a smokey haze in the sky.
We also spent a couple of days in Savannah, Georgia and Hilton Head, S.C.
